Branded short links, designed and built
I wanted the links I share to carry my own domain, so I built the thing that makes them. It doubled as a place to try front-end ideas on something real.
pino.li is my own link shortener. Sign up, shorten a URL with a custom word or a random slug, see your links with a click counter, get a QR for any of them. Built solo on Next.js and Supabase, reusing the dapino.co brand.
Why build it
Every link I shared carried someone else's domain. This one carries mine. It also gave me somewhere to make real architecture decisions on a product with actual users instead of a demo, and somewhere to push on front-end and motion without a client's deadline attached.
A note on the evidence
It runs, but it hasn't been opened to the public yet, so there are no usage numbers here and none are claimed.
